Yes, she did it! Jugend Cup alumna Zheng Qinwen from China got the gold medal at the 2024 Olympics. Congratulations from the hole team of the Baublies Jugend Cup Rutesheim. We are proud that Qinwen could take over the reins from another JC alumna – Belinda Bencic from Switzerland, who could win the gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

At 2015 a thin tall Chinese girl made her appearance at the Baublies Jugend Cup. 9 years later Zheng Qinwen is a Superstar. After her run at the Australian Open and stunning world’s # 1 Iga Šwiątek at the Olympics the Chinese woman goes for gold. Congrats Qinwen! We also want to congratulate two other Jugend Cup alumni made it also in Paris: Mirra Andreeva and Diana Schneider from Russia beat the world’s best double – Wimbledon Champion Barbora Krejčiková (also a JC alumna) and Katerina Siniaková at the Olympics quarters and will fight now for the medals.
This year the Baublies Jugendcup Rutesheim starts at August 10th. Visit this famous tournament. We are sure you will see a lot of young ladies and gentlemen who are able to follow our great alumni squad.

At the Jugend Cup 2017 in Rutesheim he lost in 1st round against German Andre Steinbach. At the ATP 500 Hamburg Open 2024 French Arthur Fils overcame world’s #4 and defending champion Alexander Zverev in a thrilling 3 setter, saving 21 break points. 20-year-old Fils climbed onto spot 20 in the world rankings. Congratulations!

2023 Ella Seidel won the Baublies Jugend Cup, now the 18-year-old Hamburg born qualified for the Australian Open. In 1st round the young German will face defending champion Aryna Sabalenka from Belarus. Good luck Ella!

The Baublies Jugend Cup RR proudly presents a new top ten player. After reaching the semis at the Australian Open Qinwen Zheng the young Chinese is the 9th JC alumni who joins the exklusiv club. Zheng, who played the Jugend Cup 2017 is following Latvian Ernests Gulbis, the Germans Angelique Kerber and Sascha Zverev, the Ukrainian Elena Svitolina-Monfils, the Swiss Belinda Bencic, the Czech Barbora Krejicikova, the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas and the Dane Holger Rune. Congratulation “Queen Weng”.

In an All-JC-Semifinal Qwinwen Zheng from China downed Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska in two sets. Yastremska joined the Baublies Jugend Cup RR 2013, two years later Zheng participated at the youth tournament near Stuttgart.

Former champion and ambassador of the Baublies Jugend Cup Renningen/Rutesheim Stephanos Tsitsipas captured his 3rd title at the Masters 1000 at the Monte Carlo country club. The Greek stunned at final Casper Ruud from Norway in 2 straight sets. Congratulations!
