2023 Ella Seidel won the Baublies Jugend Cup, now the 18-year-old Hamburg born qualified for the Australian Open. In 1st round the young German will face defending champion Aryna Sabalenka from Belarus. Good luck Ella!

The Baublies Jugend Cup RR proudly presents a new top ten player. After reaching the semis at the Australian Open Qinwen Zheng the young Chinese is the 9th JC alumni who joins the exklusiv club. Zheng, who played the Jugend Cup 2017 is following Latvian Ernests Gulbis, the Germans Angelique Kerber and Sascha Zverev, the Ukrainian Elena Svitolina-Monfils, the Swiss Belinda Bencic, the Czech Barbora Krejicikova, the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas and the Dane Holger Rune. Congratulation “Queen Weng”.

Zheng to meet Sabalenka in AO final.
In an All-JC-Semifinal Qwinwen Zheng from China downed Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska in two sets. Yastremska joined the Baublies Jugend Cup RR 2013, two years later Zheng participated at the youth tournament near Stuttgart.

Former champion and ambassador of the Baublies Jugend Cup Renningen/Rutesheim Stephanos Tsitsipas captured his 3rd title at the Masters 1000 at the Monte Carlo country club. The Greek stunned at final Casper Ruud from Norway in 2 straight sets. Congratulations!
