Ella Seidel breaks into the top 100

Ella Seidel, winner of the 2020 Baublies Jugend Cup in Rutesheim, has entered the top 100 of the WTA world rankings for the first time. At the 500-level tournament in Seoul, the Hamburg native first fought her way through qualifying, then secured her first main-draw victory of 2025 with relative ease, and now stands in the top 100 after defeating Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maia 6-7, 7-6, 7-5.
